It’s very possible that Jane Mary Weasley-Prescott is the actual loudest person to ever belong to the house of wit and learning. Outgoing, friendly, and almost kind to a fault, people often do a double take when she tells them that she’s in Ravenclaw. Several theories have been passed around, but the one that seems most probable to Jane is that she’s simply naturally intelligent; plus, she does do her homework and enjoy a good book every once in a while despite popular belief.
Nonetheless, if there’s a party going on in Ravenclaw Tower there’s a more than good chance that Jane started it. She may only be a fifth year, but she’s made friends with so many people that her list of connections goes from her bed all the way out the door of her dormitory. (And yes, she actually has the list written down - a girl has to know where to get her Firewhiskey!) The girl will use any excuse to host a party, even if the Quidditch team actually lost and it’s not technically her birthday for another sixth months, she’ll be sending out owls and prepping the common room for what could only be a good time. It always is if Jane is hosting, after all.
She’s landed a few detentions because of her behavior, but it’s not a big deal to her. Her parents might get a little frazzled with her every now and again, but she knows they still love her no matter what. She and Teresa have always gotten along, too, bonding over various things including their love of riding horses on their uncle’s ranch and constantly trying to coax Georgia to join them. Their love of adventure has always been a shared trait, too, though Jane prefers to get her kicks through a good book in that sense.
"All Ravenclaws are intellectual, but Ravenclaw Libras have their heads in the clouds more than most. They are romantic and idealistic, and prefer to live in the world of pure theory rather than in the messy world of action. It’s hard to hate them because they are so pleasant to everybody. Ravenclaw Libras are the most speculative (and indecisive) of all Libras, because they have the intellectual capacity to explore all ramifications of every action and reaction."
(I didn’t get to fill that part out okay I’m pissed)
“Whenever I meet one who carries a cedar wand, I find strength of character and unusual loyalty. My father, Gervaise Ollivander, used always to say, ‘you will never fool the cedar carrier,’ and I agree: the cedar wand finds its perfect home where there is perspicacity and perception. I would go further than my father, however, in saying that I have never yet met the owner of a cedar wand whom I would care to cross, especially if harm is done to those of whom they are fond. The witch or wizard who is well-matched with cedar carries the potential to be a frightening adversary, which often comes as a shock to those who have thoughtlessly challenged them. Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner.”
Uh, y-yeah… I-I was wondering- well, I mean, if you don’t mind- I would very much like to kiss you again.
…Oh. Well, that wouldn’t particularly be a problem, but I think I might like to kiss you more.
You know… I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the last time we kissed.
-coughs it out cause lolz she noticed- Yeah, Olive. Positive. Better than ever.
Yeah, I think I might have seen Fred wake up when Healer Thorfinn was bandaging me up. Oh no, no. It’s alright. I mean, I just don’t want you to worry or get upset over a little broken arm. It could’ve been a lot worse, right? I mean, I could have been attacked by a werewolf o-or had been struck by a Death Eater o-or had been jinxed to constantly bark up slugs unconsciously and unwillingly. Er-
F-Friend, yeah. I completely understand. It’s alright though. I’m feeling much better… Th-Thank you. For your concern, that is.
Are you sure you’re okay? You’re stuttering.
Yeah, I did. Er, it wasn’t anything too serious. There was some… weird flash thing during the battle. It startled me and I ended up flying in the air and landing on my right arm. Yeah. Nothing to worry about though, Olive. Really.
Well, I’m glad you’re okay. I believe you ended up better off than the majority of my cousins. I was under the impression that many of them were far too eager to fight and it certainly showed considering most of them were in the hospital wing afterward. Oh, I’m sorry. I’m sure you’re tired of everyone fussing over you, but I couldn’t help but worry anyhow. You’re a…friend and it makes me obligated to be concerned.
Making a public service announcement of some sort?
I’m in one piece, for the most part. Only made it out with a broken arm, which is good.
Oh, you went? And you got hurt.
